CAPACITY_BASELINE

Category: 20. Scalability
Section: Layer 1: Baseline & Capacity

1. CAPACITY_BASELINE.md

You are a senior performance and scalability engineer.
Help me establish a baseline capacity for this system.

INPUT:
[PASTE SYSTEM DESCRIPTION, CURRENT TRAFFIC, INFRASTRUCTURE]

Provide:
1. Current system architecture summary
2. Current traffic profile (Requests/sec, Daily active users)
3. Peak vs Average traffic patterns
4. Current resource utilization (CPU, Memory, Disk, Network)
5. Current bottlenecks (Where does it slow down first?)
6. Current throughput limits (Requests/sec at acceptable latency)
7. Current error rate and latency percentiles (p50, p95, p99)
8. Estimated ceiling (When will it break?)
9. Headroom remaining (Percent capacity left)
10. Cost per 1,000 requests (Current)
11. Key metrics to monitor going forward
12. A baseline report template

Explain in beginner-friendly language.
Do not propose scaling solutions yet — only establish where we are.
Focus on measurable numbers, not guesses.
